Karen Fischer is an Australian nutritionist and award-winning author of The Healthy Skin Diet (winner of ‘Best Health, Nutrition or Specific Diet Book’ at the 2008 Australian Food Media Awards). Twelve years ago Karen’s daughter developed eczema soon after she was born. By the age of two, her daughter's eczema had become severe so Karen began researching eczema to find her own solution. She devised a diet program and her daughter's eczema soon disappeared. Karen spent an additional ten years researching the causes of eczema and treating eczema patients – who contact Karen from as far as the UK seeking her unique eczema advice.
